Horizons supports an optional Synth-enhanced mode. This adds new implementations of existing Horizons OSS traits that route to Synth-managed infrastructure:
  • Managed sandbox provisioning
  • Managed environment pools
  • Managed inference
  • Online optimization and fused reward evaluation
Synth-enhanced wiring is not required to self-host Horizons. It is a private, optional adapter layer.Synth-hosted Horizons is planned, but not available today.
This code is not open-sourced. It lives in a private workspace alongside the OSS Horizons repository.

The private repo contains a horizons_synth crate that depends on horizons_core and implements Horizons traits by calling Synth-managed APIs.
